Hello everyone- I hope you weren’t scared away by the Korean greeting (and characters). As this is a blog about by travels, travails, and adventures in Korea, you will come face to face with hangeul 한글(the Korean alphabet) again. But before you decide to navigate away from this page and pepper me with questions upon my return, know this: I will translate all foreign languages into English (taekwondo and sushi don’t count) or provide links with an English translation. Hopefully this blog will be as fun to read as it is to write. These writings will serve as documentation of what I’ve done (and hope to do) in Korea during my time here as an exchange student. I sincerely appreciate anyone who reads my posts, even if it’s just my mother (in which this blog will serve as a sign that I am indeed alive). I hope you learn something from this blog, even if it’s that you want to vacation or study abroad in Seoul or Korea in the future.
